“Since all the three pillars of knowledge belong to God, it can be concluded that knowlege is only one.”
According to the public relations of Baqir al-Olum University, the 2nd  webinar of the series of international webinar of Islamic studies on "Knowledge and Science in Islam" was held by the Office of scientific cooperation and international affairs of Baqir al-Olum University in cooperation with the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization.
In this webinar, which was attended by professors and students of European universities, Iranian professors and students , cultural advisors of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Europe, some officials of Islamic Culture and Communication Organization and director of the office of scientific cooperation and international affairs of Baqir al-Olum University, Dr. Shuja Ali Mirza; Director of the Higher School of Islamic and Western Studies gave a lecture.
In this meeting, Dr. Shuja Ali Mirza considered knowledge, knower and the link between them as the three pillars of knowledge and expressed: God is the absolute knower, He is the knowledge and is the link between the two. In other words, the condition of these three seemingly separate pillars is God. Since all three belong to God, it can be concluded that science is only one.
He said: "Applying 'intellect' which has been given to man by God, it is possible to gain knowledge about various subjects that have different levels and qualities." One can acquire knowledge about minor and unimportant topics; For example, what composition an object is made of or what size it is. But the highest level of knowledge is related to knowing God, Knowledge of the names of God, etc .
The director of the Higher School of Islamic and Western Studies went on to point out another type of knowledge that human beings are not capable of acquiring by themselves and said: This type of knowledge, which is called "narration", is not from insied but is taught from outside because man is not able to know about it only by using his sense or intellect.
At the end of the meeting, which was attended by about 60 individuals, some questions were raised by the participants and Dr. Shuja Ali Mirza answered them.
